Where is my Padma Shree??

gaurav,Delhi:I dont understand why Akshay and Aishwariya got this award. What happened to the other Olympic medal winners, boxing, wrestling etc. The way the govt is doling out these award these should soon start selling in local grocery stores

Manali,NSW:What the hell is wrong with these people? Why choose Ash and Dhoni, are the Padmas so cheap that they can be given to just anybody. What have they done that was a benefit to the nation? There are far more better common people who do such good things for the nation like educating poor, keep cities clean etc etc. In Australia they hold various such awards to honour the efforts of these "common people" who genuinely do something worthwhile for the community. They should be giving these awards to the common man. The other day I was watching an ad on NDTV of Indian of the year.. What was SRK doing there? these people are crazy. They get enough respect and money when they do stage shows and movies. The real person who deserves these awards are common man within a country who does something for the country. Give these awards to Indian Army,Navy most deserved category. God Bless India! Peace out!

Swati Sharma:After reading so many comments on the Padma Shree I am sorry for these peaple who just critisize the success of others , may be because they are big failures in their lives. I have 1 big question for them WHAT HAVE THESE PEOPLE DONE FOR THEIR COUNTRY ? I think people should not forget that the padma shree awardees have with their hard work and talent earned respect in their respective fields.& Everybody should appeciate their success. Congratulations to all the winners.
