The Guy next door....

(this is in no way related to the movie with a similar title n even the theme is not similar...so kindly don't expect anything like the movie here.....)

Well...to tell u as a matter of fact.."It is a known fact at BITS, Pilani-Goa Campus..that we were both born so that we could be enemies..He is alive so that he can piss me off..n vice versa..."

Unfortunately for both of us..we gt neighbouring rooms...though we were lucky enough that there is a gap n stairs between our rooms....

Well the story starts when this guy from next door comes n knocks on the door..this would be say like a week after we joined college...He wanted a disprin...( well with mini tests in the first sem...it was enough to cause any one a headache...) so I gave him a disprin...bt after some time realised he is a serial disprin eater (He gets tensed up near the exam time n takes a disprin like it is some sweet...(well...u might not have heard about the time this guy ate 4 disprins together n managed to stay alive...well..we kicked him hard though)...as a result has been warned by all of us n no body gives him a disprin now...in fact came to know last sem that he had gt a whole pack of disprin couriered frm home....(saala bas sudharega nahi...)

He is generally seen in hostel (thats real rarely..) in his trademark black shorts n full sleeve shirts, looking tense n running here n there... (nt putting up a pic..cause I promised him..).During the exams, he believes in not wasting any time walking to somebody's room to ask doubt..he literally RUNS...in the corridors...n has gt hurt too.. a lot of times..the most serious being last yr..the day before his birthday..(18th Nov...his b'day) when he had to get bandaged on his head...

And even his parents r worried that he gets so tense etc etc..n had called us too to tell us to take care of him...bt how do you tell them that finally he has found a girl to take care of him....We used to tease hima bout a girl he really liked..n used to get angry at us...bt he finally gt commited a few months ago( not with the same girl... ;) )..n celebrated four months of togetherness..last week on some date..(i just forgot the date...was it 8th...)

Well,thank god his priorities changed..or he would have been sitting in my room...biting my head off..over some issue or the other..however he now comes to my room only after 11pm..when the hostel gates close..n then kicks my door ( for no rhyme or reason) n moves on...He is the reason that we have fun on the dinner table..pulling his leg frm even the other side of the mess..if he is nt sitting with us..The one thing I don't understand abt him is that whenever somebody pulls his leg..he is bound to kick me...event though I am such an Innocent (notice..with a capital I) guy...

This pretty much sums up our story..trying to kill each other

This was just one of his side..the other one being the fact he is a very hard worker, dedicated, knows what he wants n gets it (including you know whom), a gr8 person to be with, you should just hear his brlliant ideas, his stram of achievements..being a MCSE...an enthu Forex (the M.Sc Economics Assoc) member, and also a member of ASCII.. (the not existent CS Assoc), part of the BITSAA team, Embryo team, BnB team, n Wall street club...etc n you know that this guys knows his stuff....

Well...will not praise more..or he is gonna kick me...

and in the end...after all the leg pulling, he got really pissed of n i had to make one promise to him...n here it is...

"I solemnly swear that I will not trouble my neighbour (won't name him..cause I promised him so..), will not pull his leg,talk about his past lovelife and lead him to my murder or his own suicide and use no names in my status msgs."

unfortunately...bad habits die hard..n i am back to pulling his leg..n his girlfriend bears it with a smile...( nt that she has any other choice..)..n he keeps kicking my door and giving out "SUPARI'S " for me to everyone he meets...and life continues...
