Nearly there...

Well, its nearly the end...PS 2 forms for the first sem 2008-2009 are now out.. :(


n its a good week for me..After the gud marks, the lab exam for Analog has been postponed to next week and so has the Communication System lab exam..though we still have a quiz on Thursday....


Am planning to go jogging tomorrow morning and am trying to become regular but I never feel like leaving m bed in the morning :(

So am going to sleep early so that I can try to wake up early....

Kahani abhi baaki hai...

Well, today was the end of our last serious t2( Test2 or the 2nd internals)...as the last year at BITS is for electives and a six months training, so we'll I am gonna miss u T2 :P

However the misery of the toughest sem for the toughest branches( EEE n Eni if you guys couldn't realize that out yet ) is not over yet...With us getting a checked copy of Analog Electronics papers tomm morning( wtf we just gave the exam on saturday..)...the dates for the final lab exam are out...n I am in the first batch :(

And after that is the Communication lab exam..

n then just a couple of weeks for all the nostalgic we can be...some of us are gonna be attending our last few classes together, eating in the mess together for the last few times... cause some of will be moving out for PS2..n will come back in the 8th sem when we'll be out...so its adieu time... :(

So guys its down to 35 days or 840 hours or 50,400 seconds (or simply its too less a time) to have fun n enjoy n talk and spend with all the people who have been a cushion for all the bumps and kicks life has given you these 3 yrs...

This post is for Nimit, Abhay, Meet, Bapu,Alekh bhai, Sagar, Goyal,chillu, Shokee, Choos and all the guys( n gals ;) ) who are going for PS in the first sem and all to all those who have to bear with me for on more sem [ :) ]... the people who have made the times at campus memorable...because everything we do together becomes a memory... ;)

Holi hai....

Well had Holika Dehen today...n Vishal n Uday were running the whole day trying to arrange wood n kerosene n sweets etc...

Time of burning the fire- 7 PM

6:30 PM : It starts raining all of a sudden..n suddenly it looks as if the hard work has been spoilt...

7:05 PM : Suddenly the power goes off ( nt too unusual in our campus...)

7:10 PM : Me n Abhay take the colours( from the 5 kg bags( taking the colour out without lights n any knife or blade required another Engineering skill-we used a pen to tear a hole in the bag ;) ) )and finally managed to extract enough colour to be used as tikka ( bt believe me, we used it for everything except the tikka) and matches to light the fire...
btw its still raining...

7:24 PM : We decide to light the fire, some 12 of us in the open...all ready to make the fire burn against all odds...

7:28 PM : We try to light the fire...n IT starts burning on the first try ( sweet success... :) )

7: 35 PM : The crowd starts arriving, most of them not quite ready to come out in the rain( it was still drizzling...) bt we had enough crowd to start with tikka n Holi....sang songs too...

9: 00 PM : After enjoying Holi, the rain and the warm fire....its time to take a bath....

waise the starting has been good..Lets hope the colour fight tomm rocks too... ;)

Well, this is wat every EEE n Instru 3yrite must be thinking...

This is how our past week has been like

Thursday 13th March : Open Book Operations Research test

Friday 14th March: Electromagnetic Fields and Waves Assignment( which btw was given on Wednesday March 12th)

Saturday 15th March: Communication Systems lab report ( which again was of 15 pages..n we have been told to submit our net report by Tuesday 18th March)

Sunday 16th March: Analog n Digital VLSI Design lab exam on Microwind( which I managed to learn at the last moment)

Monday 17th March: Analog Lab, another lab another report n PSPICE Simulation codes...

Tueday 18th March: Have to submit the Communication System report...

Friday 21st March: Have a Communication lab on a HOLIDAY( good firday) cause Saturday is HOLI(day)

No time to breathe..n to imagine that this is my last sem with some of my frnds...Nimit, Abhay, ST, Meet, Sagar, n Bapu( who incidently is the only 9 ptr to be going to PS in the first sem) who will all be going for PS 2 next sem...as people have put in their Gtalk status msg..."Nostalgic hone ka time bhi nahi de rahe.. :( "

20 Things I'll never forget about my college...

On the night before my 20th Birthday( 30th Jan)...I was waiting for the Birthday Bumps( point no. 9) and thought of what all my college has given me...and so here i noted down some of the most memorable things...

1. The College itself-BITS Pilani Goa Campus

2. Friends I have got for life- Vishal, Vishrut, Nimit, Angad, Govi...whom I can trust with my life...

3. The Wingies- Adi, Meet, Abhishek, Abhay, Pandey and Govil( though he is never at his room)...available for help, masti or just for being there..anytime and everytime...

4. Cooking Maggi at 1 AM...

5. The Mess(definitely not because of the food)...but because of the time we spend here just talking and pulling each others legs

6. The nighouts..

7. The DJ nites for every occasion and the RDC( Rejected Dancers Club) meet that ensues.

8. The treats at Monginis or Nescafe...

9. The Bumps(read kicks) we give out on Birthdays...

10. The beaches

11. Watching a match in the Common room with 180 people screaming at every hit and miss...

12. The class at 8 in the morning...

13. The lab reports...be it Analog Electronics, EMEC, DECO or CommSys-all of them with more than 10 pages of writing theory...and EEE'ites have two of them each sem..

14. Assignments about things not even heard of...

15. Mess Food( It wasn't bad...it was simply AATISH..)

16. Slow Net

17. LOLest Courses...

18. The closing of the hostel gates at 1130 PM

19. The fact that it made an engineer out of me and more importantly a Man..

20. ...(Waiting for this one..will let you know soon ;) )

Anyways I'd like to thank Vishal, Abhay,Abhishek, Meet, Pandey, Adi, Pophali, Bhasin, VNV, Govil, Gill, Bapu and others for the wonderful Birthday bumps and kicks...n everybody else for the wishes and the kicks...
